Mission Ministry

The Mission Ministry of Travelers Rest Baptist Church is dedicated to living out the Great Commission by sharing the love of Christ through service, outreach, and compassionate care. Our purpose is to extend the hands and heart of the church beyond the walls of the sanctuary, meeting both the spiritual and practical needs of individuals, families, and communities near and far.

Through local initiatives, charitable partnerships, and global missions, this ministry works to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, visit the sick, encourage the brokenhearted, and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every act of service reflects our commitment to being the light of the world and demonstrating God’s love in action.

At its core, the Mission Ministry reminds us that faith is not only what we believe, but also how we serve. Together, we strive to be faithful witnesses of Christ’s love, fulfilling His call to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
